Buying the right car is harder than it looks. I help figure out what's worth pursuing, what's overpriced, and when to walk — especially in the niche, investor-grade stuff. When it's time to move, CF handles everything: inspections, transport, delivery, wherever the car is.
Collection Management
Most people are great at acquiring cars. The keeping-them-sorted part is where things fall apart. CF handles maintenance scheduling, service coordination, storage, transport — all of it, through a tight network of people who actually know what they're doing. You turn the key. It starts.
Restoration & Concours Preparation
CF manages the whole project — vendor selection, timeline, quality control. The difference is the standard: paint that looks good under shop lights but wrong in the sun doesn't pass. Panel gaps that are almost right aren't. Nothing ships until it's exactly right, and that's not up for negotiation.
I've always approached cars as an enthusiast first.
Every decision starts with how a car is driven, maintained, and the story it carries. Not just how it's valued. Collectors Firm exists to support owners who feel the same way. My role is to handle the details with care and judgment, so clients can stay focused on enjoying their cars rather than managing everything around them.
Truman Wilson
Truman Wilson started Collectors Firm out of a simple observation: serious car owners needed someone in their corner who actually understood the cars. His relationship with them started early, growing up around his father's Ferrari 599 GTB and spending weekends at Cars and Coffee gatherings across Dallas.
In 2023, he co-founded Corsa De Villa, an invitation-only gathering in Highland Park built on one idea: Passion. No red carpets, no entry fees, just a private event for people who genuinely love cars.
That led to working in every aspect of HCC Specialty Cars, a boutique specialty car dealership in Dallas.
CF is built on all of it.
